Highly recommended! Had mushroom soup and spare ribs. The food was hot (as in warm), very tasty and plentiful. The wine was lovely. The price is very fair. Friendly service, good music. Literally optimal, can’t even think of any points of criticism if I’d wanted to. De Oats is a nice place to stop for a beer and a bite. It's one of the oldest places in Sittard, dating back to 1530.

Anytime I have someone visiting, I always take them here. They have a small menu with authentic Dutch foods and a great beer selection. The building is super old and nicely decorated.
