The location is a nice neighborhood and although it’s winter i already see a nice terrace outside..
The atmosphere is beautiful and stylish. Comfy chairs and nice staff.
They were friendly and attentive the whole evening. We felt very welcome.
Lots of choices with wines and cocktails.
We started with delicious oysters and ansjovis on toast.
The main i ordered a roasted chicken with sliced potatoes. And it was delicious and portion was great. And my husband ordered short rib. He enjoyed it a lot.
As a side we ate delicious sprouts and fries.
Everything tasted so good and the desert the sticky toffee was so yummy.
The whole evening was perfect and although it was packed it was a cozy and nice atmosphere. We will come back for sure.

Ohoho. Can’t find cozier, more delicious and still affordable in price place as Bowie. It’s been hard to book the place since it’s opening. Cheers to owners who gathered such a great team delivering high quality food, service and wines ❤️

The place looked so nice that I couldn’t believe that the food wouldn’t match it 🥲 My eggs royale were okay, the sauce was too sour (too much vinegar) + too much spinach on top, it kinda spoiled the dish.
My bf’s steak and fries for 22 euros were tasty but again - not worth the money, for the place of this level they could have been more creative, it looked very simple + fries are like from McDonald’s…
We liked the cocktails and service was a bit slow but waiters were very friendly. The cheesecake was quite tasty but again - very simple, my pieces of advice would be to add a bit more effort into your dishes.
Also, they don’t really have a drinks menu and no matcha (even though you can find one in most modern places).
Overall, I don’t think I’d come again, a lot of things should be improved.

I had an incredible experience at Bowie!
The staff was friendly and considerate, especially regarding my gluten intolerance. The interior is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with cozy lighting. The drinks, including champagne and amaretto sours, were excellent.
We started with the jamon and the anchovies, then had short ribs with polenta and duck for the main course. The duck was fantastic, but the short ribs with polenta were irresistible – we even ordered them again! It felt like a home-cooked meal; it reminded me of my dad's cooking, making me incredibly happy.
My fiancé enjoyed the tarte tatin, describing it as delicious.
We can't wait to return to Bowie – it just became our new favorite.

The first time we came here, it was absolutely amazing. Great service from our waiter, amazing food, and wonderful atmosphere. I came back a second time with my husband and we had an entirely different experience. The food was still fantastic but the service was horrible. Our waitress was incredibly unfriendly and unkind, dropping food on our table without barely making eye contact. She never asked how we liked the food and seemed annoyed that we were sitting in her section. We couldn’t figure out why as there was no awkward friction from our side. When we asked about the food and wine, she acted exasperated and we had to flag her down (or sometimes other waiters) as it seemed like she was actively avoiding our table. It was such a negative experience that despite how good it was the first time, I won’t be coming back to risk it. We left feeling very unwelcome and unsatisfied with our experience especially considering the price tag of eating dinner here.

On a rainy, stormy evening we arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes later: I can say that I would have loved to have these 10 minutes to enjoy a bit more the stay. We had good till excellent food but forget the spinach and cheese croquettes and the anchovy bruschetta but the rest ..... really good. Artichokes and cauliflower to share. And for the main course beef short rib and poulet roti. The wine suggestion was great. Service was friendly and attentive. Price overall ok. I did not really like the time duration even if I can understand why: it is not a chip place! I also understand the pre-payment of the table to ensure the booking.....

The staff were welcoming and polite. As international ‘local guide’ who’s been around for many years, I do really value that. However, evil is the details, in this case in customer care. There was an unpleasant accident with my pumpkin soup, which I have sent back with plenty of tact (also for not screwing the lunch of guests nearby). I received prompt excuses and replacement, and a question regarding what the restaurant could offer us to make it up. I suggested to offer me the final coffee - and that was it, from my part. My family owned a restaurant and I do know that accidents in the kitchen may happen, simply. However, miscommunication among the staff made us leaving with the coffee paid, too. So here’s an unrequested but much felt advice for the future: next time, just replace the course and take it down from the bill no-question-asked. Don’t inquire a client who’s not made any complaint for something for which other clients could have made a scene, let alone with the restaurant full.
That said, I will be happy to return and try the dinner menu with my girlfriends. The pumpkin soup tasted promising!

There were too many visitors on Sunday. It is not possible to make a reservation for lunch though there was a table for three that was reserved. Too loudly, no space. The food is not bad but nothing special. Good place if you live in the neighbourhood but if you need to come here specially I would not recommend it.
