I had the veggie burger and it was yummy, with fresh lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes toppings. I wish I had more time here for a milk shake or ice cream. Lots of ground area for picnicking. Great location with a nice looking over the dunes just a few hundred metres from the restaurant.

Best ras patat from the eiland. I came het as a jong boy when visiting my grandma. Think the best snackbar on the eiland.

A nice place in the woods with a lot of space for the kids to play. We were here the last few years. But they raised the prices for a kids menu from last year 5.5€ to 7.5€. Yes, there is inflation, but not 36%. Additionally, it was not enough for our 8 year old, he requested an additional kids menu. A nice spot on the edge of the forest near the dunes. The fries are an acquired taste, not the normal french fries, but some kind of deep fried potato puree. I kind of happen to like it, my kids don't. The kroketten could be better. But hey, if you are hungry, it's a great place to be.

Very authentic fries, I really liked its unique taste. And hey, it’s wonderful to have a spot in the forest to grab snacks on the way from the beach. Lekker!

The best original 'Raspatat' you will ever eat. I really recommend eating here. It is located in the middle of a pine forest and near the beach on the western part of Texel. + Location + Food + Nice atmosphere + Nice things to do in the vicinity + A place for children to play + Toilet + Cheap - The parking lot may have some sticks/branches in it so if you have difficulties walking you should look out.
