Best. naan. bread. ever! I’ve been to plenty of Indian restaurants in my time, but the naan bread here is perfect. The chicken was succulent and the sauces were delicious. Service is timely and the food is always enjoyed with a cobra beer. Whenever I come to Tonsberg, a trip to this restaurant is a highlight. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had an amazing dinner at Bombay Tandoori. Lovely terrace with harbor view. Super friendly service, extensive Indian menu with veg and non-veg dishes. Tried the Chef's choice grill plate with garlic naan and rice, incredibly delicious. Opted for spice level 5, perfect balance of flavor. I had "dinner for one" at Bombay Tandori. The restaurant is located towards the main street with a small terrace on the side where the main entrance is. If you chose a table on the terrace, you can see the harbor. The service was exceptionally friendly and the choice of food is, typical Indian, large. Next to vegetarian dishes, a variety of lamb, chicken, fish and dishes with shrimp are offered. I had the “Chef’s choice – grill plate” with rice and garlic naan – absolutely delicious. Spiciness is offered on a scale from 1 (mild) to 7 (hot, vindaloo). I like spicy food and selected “5”. The result was a lot of taste without hurting tongue or mouth. Not recommended at all. Worst experience, understood at the time of payment that they / cook were not happy to have customers arriving at 9pm but still manager took the order as we were big group. Manager not welcoming Food was served extremely spicy, burning hot even for an Indian taste bud. Didn't replace the food or any deduction on payment. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
