Over the many years we always made this restaurant a regular stop although missed last year when we visited. It was owned and run by a husband and wife and they would chat with us on many occasions. Sadly we heard the owner passed away and its under new management. We found the new owner (who studied under the previous owner) capable, friendly and nice. The food was also excellent. We ordered chicken samosas (served with mint sauce)…normally tamarind would also be served. Very good. Main course Tadka dal (excellent) and mutton karai (wish there were bones and more pieces of mutton) also good. Here no rice is served with the main course so one has to order rice. The lache paratha was excellent and so was the kulfi faluda. Clean bathrooms. Inside AC outside seating also. We plan to keep returning as we visit. Used to have great food at Bombay Bites and great service! Since they changed management/ownership it has drastically declined in quality. We order take out often from them. Missing items from the order, no vegetables in the vegetable raita and refried hara bhara kebab, dripping in oil… too bad, it used to be our favorite place Service Take out Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Very good Indian food! Nice service, and is in an interesting upstairs, road-side location in Simpson bay. Great for delicious food and people watching from above. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Plain Naan

My girlfriend and I ate here and it was by far one of our favorite spots on the island. The service was fast, the food was hot and fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. We will be going back. The menu is also helpful when trying to choose a dish.

This is the best Indian food that I’ve ever had. I try lamb rogan josh at every Indian place I visit. I ordered mutton rogan josh and the sauce was deliciously tangy and spicy (I got medium spice). The garlic naan was also amazingly flakey crisp. This place is located on the second floor and you have to go up a flight of stairs. There is also a nice balcony you can sit at and watch the streets below.
Vegetable Samosa was really good. The butter chicken was delicious as well. I asked for mild spice level which was a too little, so don't be shy about spice level. The mango lasse was yummy as well. Service was good. The restaurant was upstairs with no elevator, so not WC accessible. It's right on airport road with an outside area (where we ate) and and indoor space. Outside was a bit noisy with loud car speakers, etc, so if you want a more intimate/quiet dinner, eat inside. Outside was nice and great airflow, so. we were happy. We'll go back when we return to the island. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Enjoyable, tried a mutton and spinach (mild) with rice and a garlic naan. Everything was delicious and the meat was very tender. Topped it off with a chai.

Bombay Bites offers delicious veggie food and authentic Indian cuisine! Every dishes we tried tasted so fresh and full of flavours, they make a lot of their curry masalas in house, the paneer tikka, naan, samosa chaat, everything we ate was a cut above other Indian restaurants we had been to before. We’ll definitely be back, and we ate on a lovely terrace with sunset view over the bay.

One of the best Indian food I've ever had! I didn't realize I would find it in SXM 😊. I tagged along with my sister and brother-in-law. We were hosted by jewelers who took care of ordering and were great hosts. I live in Toronto area where we have are fortunate to have access to many Indian restaurants, amongst other cuisines. I didn't expect the food to taste so fresh, even though some of the ingredients are likely imported. It did start off a little slow with service but caught up and were attentive, which I believe was due to our dinner hosts. Overall, highly recommend.
