Good place for lunch in Ponce.
Had the mid-day special today. I had the rice and gandules with fried chicken with fries, as you can see.
Good presentation.
Priced are good, with lunch specials being cheap. They also have "a la carta" options that you can order if you don't want the stuff in the lunch menu.
The food was pretty good. Nothing too crazy, but satisfying. The service was really fast too; it took 15 minutes for the food to be ready.
Portions are medium sized. They'll fill you if you're not too hungry or moderately hungry. But not if you're starving.
That being said, if you ask for a simple side, like tostones, don't get them from here. Unless you're ok with paying $5 for 6 tostones.
Overall, it's a good lunch option if you're in the area. Their food cycles daily so you can keep following their social networks to keep track of their menu.

Very warm place to eat local food. They got lunch specials plus a la carte menu. You can order carry out. Prices are reasonable and food came very fast.
Food was amazing . Staff was friendly. We ordered mofongo mixto and mofongo de pollo. Sooo good !!! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area . Also tries the fried Mero , which was very goood as well. Give this place a try .
Iba por la Avenida Hostos en Ponce hacia otro restaurante y vi de paso este restaurante nuevo. Decidí entrar rápidamente. Me encanta probar nuevos lugares. Tiene varias mesas afuera debajo del techo. Luego entré y sentí un ambiente agradable. Tiene una pequeña barra. Nos sentamos y rápido la empleada nos atendió con una sonrisa y amabilidad. Nos entregó el menú y nos habló de la sangría de la casa. La pedimos y es riquísima. También la piña colada le quedó deliciosa. Atendió a varias personas y nunca se olvidó de pasar por la mesa para atendernos. Tomó nuestra orden y degustamos nuestras bebidas al mismo tiempo escuchando de fondo una música muy suave. Nos contestó todas las preguntas que le hicimos del lugar y fue muy simpática. El lugar parece pequeño pero no es así. Tiene otra parte que una pared lo separa del salón principal. La decoración es muy sencilla acorde con su nombre. En una pared tienen un reloj grande donde los comensales se retratan antes de irse. Tiene bastantes mesas con sillas altas. Todo muy cómodo, limpio y acogedor. La comida llegó con una bonita presentación e invitando a degustar rápidamente. Las porciones muy buena y el sabor divino. Los precios muy buenos. Me encantó todo. Voy a regresar pronto.
