The restaurant was ok, in my opinion it was trying to look expensive / fancy while it wasn't. The food was nice, and the hot chocolate was brought to our table quite fast and tasted good. I think the service could of been a bit faster but they were nice enough. I really think they should of stuck to the basics with the presentation of things to be honest, instead of a simple white plate the food was brought on either a wooden plank or a plastic plate with some or other design that was supposed to make it look like wood, which made the plates seem very cheap. Had a lovely cheesecake and a cappuccino on the terrace. Unfortunately, at this time of year, there is no waiting service outside, so I had to order inside and take it out myself. Not really a big deal, but no full marks 😉 there's a lovely view of the sea, dike and dunescape from this place. Very nice and cozy place to grab a bite and have a drink. Amazing view. Friendly service. Plenty of bites and sandwiches but there are some nice choices for main course as well. Tasty local beers on tap and good house wines. We had toasts with fries and were very happy with both. Prices are more than ok. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–30

Had a bike tour from julianadorp to den helder - our goal was this restaurant ✌🏻 the quesadillas was so delicious! Want to eat this tomorrow again 😍 Restaurant is such a lovely interior Place and the view of the sea is amazing! Price per person €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I’m always going there for the fries with saté sauce with Texels Skuumkoppe beer. Location is great, cozy and right next to the sea. Prices are decent as well! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–20

Nice little cafe on top of the dyk around the city of Den Helder with great views of the ocean, the Island of Texel and the Dunes. Great for a walk and enjoy the views with drinks and lunch.
