WOW-WOW-WOW! I had a 4 week trip all over Brazil in 2009 and the highlight of was the food! This place is exactly what I experienced during my visit. It tastes like there's a mother or grandmother making the food for us 😄 highly recommend it

We stopped by this new Brazilian food spot tucked away in the shopping center and loved it. The food is very fresh and delicious. Very nice owner run place. This is a gem to have in San Juan Capistrano.

You don’t need to go to Brazil to crave for their cuisine ! They got it perfectly right in here! Somethin good food soul! Excellent food, and tons for the price. Highly recommend! Love the restaurant interior too. Well surely comeback!

I own Invictus fitness which is literally down the street from this most amazing authentic restaurant.
I walked in today and made contact with Sabrina who was friendly and gracious with providing options to choose from.
I am West Indian so curry and coconut are no strangers to me. However the flavors put together for my first San Juan Capistrano Brazil cuisine were beyond awesome and brought me back to my grandmothers dinner table.
In short…you have to go!! People this is a family owned business and you know when a restaurant is family owned they are about making your joy their business!!

Amazing culinary experience with the traditional taste and execution of Brazilian food. The flavors are well balanced, portions are reasonable, and service is very polite and efficient. A must go place to appreciate the diversity and richness of Brazilian cuisine. We had the yucca fries with beef as appetizer, the shrimp Bobo and the Carioca plate (which includes picanha steak). I had a very nice dinner with my family at Basil Brazil. The food was amazing and tasted like true Brazilian food. Most restaurants can’t capture the authenticity of Brazilian food but Basil Brazil did. Our waitress was also very nice and helpful. I had a great experience dining at Basil Brazil and recommend everyone who loves true Brazilian food to try this place.

Outstanding Brazilian food; excellent and attentive service; beautiful clean atmosphere. Delighted with the entire dinner experience and very pleased it is not "fast food" but individually made according to each order with fresh ingredients. We love Basil Brazil, its owners and chef!
