Great coffee, cranberry muffin and cinnamon rolls! Fast service and fair prices. They open at 7 am but were greeted and served 6:45am.

Mocha was good, service fast and pleasant. It was busy. We parked at the library diagonal from the bakery/cafe, otherwise street parking. Bought some other baked goods, cake balls, macaroon, and a cookie. They were out of a couple of items we wanted. My sons liked the cake balls and macaroon. I had to ask for the cookie to be warmed, but it still didn’t seem to be warmed. It was close to the main area of town and had lots of seating including some outside. Lots pluses.
Picked up a last-minute cake for a birthday right before closing. Went with the almond cake with cream cheese and raspberry filling - super affordable and did not disappoint!
My favorite place to stop and get a treat and an coffee, or an iced tea. Great outside in the summer and cozy in the winter. Their lunches are really good too!
Let me start off by saying we had two good turkey panini sandwiches... Buuutttt we also ordered a grilled cheese on white bread which I thought would taste great because their other sandwiches are good...this sandwich was for my daughter who is 13 years old... I hopefully included the pictures I took of it to show how it came. I didn't pay attention to the price but I'm sure it was more than a couple dollars. That is why I feel it's important to show this review... So people know what they are getting... Let me just say I was shocked at the low quality of the sandwich. It is paper thin and hard as a rock... My daughter took one bite and had to tear at it just to get that bite off the sandwich! Let me just say now that this was our lunch and a to go order so we we not in a position to go back to deal with this issue. But my daughter ended up with no lunch and that really ticked me off. I'll stop here as I feel the pictures speak a thousand words. Oh and the paper was stuck to the sandwich so that is gross! I also included pictures of the sandwich compared to my little vape just to show how thin this sandwich really is.
Surely the best sticky buns in the world are made here. The coffee is also superb, indeed the best in town. They also make the best pizza in town on Fridays and Saturdays. I also like their unapologetic declarations that their bread contains gluten (then again, I tend to like anything that flouts today's bovine herd mentality, pitiful fragility, and shameless race to the bottom.)
This place is popular with locals, but because it's a bit off the main tourist area, it's less known by tourists.
A great thing: not once did I ever wear a mask here during 2020. I saw few others doing so either. This establishment was assuredly against the mass madness of the time. Bravo! On this basis alone they won my business.
The one area for improvement concerns certain of their young employees, who are a bit surly and barely look one in the eye. I've been coming here for years, but with barely an acknowledgement from these types. Such behavior, of course, reflects the degenerate race to the bottom across all sectors of today's "culture," so I don't strongly hold this against the owners. And of course being surly is virtually de rigueur for a barrista. I should know; I used to be one of them.
I heard about their bearclaws...they we OK but now the overfilled nutty bearclaw I had hoped for😥. I guess my expectations were over built. The place is cute and had a few gluten free options for those that are looking for them. The atmosphere is homey but not the overstuffed chair sit by the fire and enjoy your Cocoa type of place.

Friendly staff, good prices. Highly recommend the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on apple-walnut bread, as well as the huckleberry Italian soda with whipped cream.
The ladies were super friendly that worked here and made great suggestions on things to try. We able to make our drinks exactly how we requested them. The snacks were also very yummy as well.
