Very annoyed and disappointed. Pretty much like some of the reviews here. I ordered a custom cake for my birthday. I found a rainbow cake on their own Instagram. Showed the exact picture and ordered with the owner lady. Explained Clearly what I wanted and the rainbow 🌈 colour exactly the same from the Instagram picture.
Just went to pick it up and it's completely not the right rainbow colour. Yes I wanted the frosting all over the cake, that is correct. BUT look at the colours!
Talked directly to the owner lady and she made excuses, no apologies for the disappointment and shock I had. She said she made the "rainbow" colour but the rainbow is never the same colour. Huh? Who are you kidding?
Ah hello? Anyone seen a rainbow 🌈 in the dark gloomy colours she made? Even a child can draw a rainbow 🌈 with the correct colour combination. It is for a birthday celebration not a funeral.
She only said either you take the cake or there is nothing she can do about it. Didn't even offer to remake the cake. And I had to pay €50!! for this custom cake that didn't match my custom order?! What's the point of a custom cake then? She literally just said I CANNOT REMAKE THE CAKE. No you can, you just don't want to.
I have ordered cakes here at least 3-4 times before and never have I been so annoyed.
Now I have no cake for my birthday because other shops are closed on Sunday and Monday. I was not gonna pay €50 for a goddamn cake that I don't like.
The worst is her customer service. Like stop with the attitude if you want your business to go on longer. Stop making excuses. If you cannot even make the cake exactly the same as you made it before, then you should take some baking lessons again.
NEVER order cakes here again!

Disappointed. The cake does not look like the picture on their website - the drip is not shiny gold but caramel instead, they skipped adding 2 more flowers and the macarons are not white. This is not the first time their cake does not look like picture you paid for.

The cake turned out beautifully, it even transcended my expectations. And not only does it look gorgeous, it also tasted amazing. We had the vanilla raspberry flavor and it was definitely a hit. Chocolate might have been too sweet, since the icing is very sugary. There weren’t any problems with the order, which I made online, which was the point I was anxious about. All was handled perfectly.

Everyone in the bakery is always friendly and helpful. The cakes are as pretty as they are tasty (very). And the cookies are beyond good

cake is great, even for 6 persons it’s very much of cake. I had some special notes and they followed my wishes that was awesome. You would never find something like this in Germany especially for this price! Wonderful.

They are amazing, the service is nice & kind, the cakes delicious and the price more than accessible. They also do delivery, which is very handy. Happy to have found such a gem.

Pains me to leave this review as we were always very happy with our €10 Surprise Boxes as they were simply delicious. But yesterday we decided to try a €20 Surprise Box and were met with great dissapointment upon delivery. The €10 box has 2 cupcakes and 2 brownie bars. We expected the double, for double the price. Instead we got 3 of each. So actually ordering 2x €10 would have been more beneficial? 🤔 As this comes up to €5 each for a extra brownie bar and cupcake, which is ridiculously expensive. We tried contacting Bake My Day ALL day about this, through calling and WhatsApp. But sadly no response.. I used to love this place as the food is delicious, but too bad the customer service is horrid. We noticed the cold atmosphere as well when visiting the store physically, hence why we decided to stay with ordering. But this honestly goes above and beyond, very bad. Way to treat your loyal customers. 👍

Ordered plenty of cakes from them but my daughter's 21st birthday cake was my fav!!! It was just what we had envisioned it to look like!!!! Best cake place for my family celebrations 🎂
