This restaurant serves Indian cuisine. Order perfectly cooked biryani, vada and soup. As guests write in their reviews, mango lassi served at Atchaya is great. The pleasant staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Google users awarded the rating of 4.3 to this place.

Another honest review of an South Indian restaurant. The host/ proprietor of the restaurant is a sincere person, multilingual and attentive to the needs of the customer. I asked for water and got free tap water. Food is South Indian in taste and quite authentic, freshly made to order, it takes some time. The menu card is extensive. Could not finish the food so we got it nicely packed for take away. All in all: good food, good service. Good experience. Recommended! 8/10 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €70–80 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
I'm assigning a rating of 1 star, as I don't find an option to rate any lower. This reflects my dissatisfaction with the overall experience and the issues encountered with the food quality and service. I placed an order for shrimp biriyani, but upon receiving it, I discovered a significant number of chicken pieces in the dish. This discrepancy suggests that the biriyani may have been either old or mistakenly mixed up. Regardless of the cause, I find it unacceptable to receive a dish with such errors in it. This incident is the second time I've encountered food quality issues with the same restaurant recently. It's disheartening to face recurring problems with the food quality, and I believe it's essential for the restaurant to address these issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. It appears that the restaurant doesn't prioritize customer satisfaction, evident from their practice of serving hot food items in low-quality plastic containers. Many alternatives in the market and other restaurants have adopted better practices. Despite being a frequent customer and placing numerous orders, my recent experience has compelled me to make a tough decision – I've decided to refrain from getting takeout from this place. It's disappointing when businesses seem more profit-minded than concerned about providing a quality and satisfactory customer experience. I discovered the place recently and it wasn’t a strong yes from the very beginning. Not every dish will surprise you in a good way, but the place has potential and the staff is open for feedback for improvement. We were delighted to see that from one time to another the dishes would become better and with time we also learn to be vocal about our own preferences. It’s always best to check with the chef/ staff regarding your expectations from a particular dish and then you’ll understand if it’s something for you or not. The prices are also reasonable so I encourage you to try it and discover the dishes by yourself. I am particularly a fan of the curries so far. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person €20–30

Yumilicious !!!! We have visited this place almost 4 times in last 30 days. Best place if you crave South Indian food. The price is also very reasonable. It's amazing. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Being a South Indian living in Amstelveen, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you wanna try the authentic South Indian dishes. I have ordered multiple times here, and I was very happy with each and every order that tempted me to order again. I personally love the non-vegetarian dishes. It's definitely worth visiting here if you miss South Indian taste. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person €70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time i tried atchaya food during Holi festival, and since then i became fan of their food. Very very nice south indian thali, must try if you are there. We did try Manchurian which was also amazing in taste. Will also suggest dalwada. Service was quite slow but can understand sometimes, atmosphere and ambience of restaurant is ok ok. Surrounding street parking is available, and you can also easily reach by bus 357/358. Overall good food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
