Ordered curbside to go. Never received any notification my food was ready. No one brought it to my car so I go inside and it’s just sitting there. I order a medium rare steak and my steak looks like the furthest thing from it. The person that made this made sure it was over done cause you can tell it was over done just by looking at it. The food is the same as it's always been for the most part, it's an Applebee's and it's decent. They seemed very short staffed but despite that the service was excellent, they were very attentive and friendly. Food came out quicker than expected as well. Mozzarella sticks were pretty good and of the wing flavors the hot pepper one was our favorite by a long shot! On August 11th (late afternoon), the restaurant was not packed. Yet, the service was slow / awful. The Staff was more interested in talking to each other and not the customers. People were waiting to be seated (10 minutes). Waiting 25 minutes on drinks (adult beverages). And we waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come back so that we could pay. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and food quality at the Applebee's restaurant I visited on February 22nd, 2023, at approximately 8:30 PM. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, with only about four occupied tables, my partner and I waited for an hour to be seated. We eventually decided to sit at the bar, where the bartender provided excellent service. The food we ordered was disappointing. The ribs I ordered were extremely dry, and my partner's burger was raw. Our fries were also cold. The only positive aspect of our meal was the appetizer, which was satisfactory. Given the poor quality of the food and the excessive wait time, I believe that Applebee's needs to improve its staffing levels and overall operations. I spent over $50 on this meal, including a $20 tip, and the only edible part was the appetizer. I intend to contact the restaurant manager tomorrow to discuss this matter further. The riblets would have been better with more sauce. Service was a little slow. Was not crowded. Waitress forgot I paid in cash for a moment which made me a little nervous. Matter of fact never got a receipt so that whole situation could have gone left. I called and spoke with a guy and ordered two butter pecan blonde. When I got to the store to pick it up the girl told me it would be 10.00. I told her that wasn't right cause I had ordered two. She rudely told me no I didn't. I only ordered 1 She flipped the receipt over and then I got rude back and told her I called the guy inside and ordered with him. Then she told me to stop being rude to her. She stormed off and I was done. I left. I will not be back. Your staff that brings food to the cars doesn't have to be rude. Horrible experience the ribs plate vs the rib platter is nothing but a joke and just an opportunity to take your money. I have eaten at applebees for years and the plate is usually 3 ribs and the platter is 5. It's $2.00 more but this applebees doesn't do that they just take your money and don't provide anything extra. When confronted manager was rude would not comp the $2.00 or provide the extra ribs. The food was great, and I definitely recommend the sugar dusted donuts for dessert. The service could improve, especially since we went during a downtime where there were only 2 other sets of customers there. The young man, who I assume was the host, was more attentive and helpful than our waiter. The rest of the employees were near the bar and were loud/cursing, which I don't really like, especially in a family restaurant setting.
