Having seen Museum De Casteelse Poort, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Turkish cuisine is served at Ali baba. Nicely cooked falafels are exactly what many guests order here. Based on the visitors' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.

In 04/05/2023, I was there with a few friends, and I saw her. The Blonde German girl from near Hamburg, studying Msc at Wageningen University-Enviromental Science Department. Ignored us when we tried to order, we were to only ones in the shop. He wasn’t polite. He turned on loud music when we tried to order. He got mad when we tried to pay with card, instead of cash. Accidentally charged us €150 instead of €15 and didn’t make great afford to pay it back. He just told us to sit and wait. He did pay us back in the end, but he wasn’t clear about how en if he would do it. He called us honey, we are 17 yo girls. He just wasn’t nice and didn’t behave appropriate towards his costumers. Not a nice experience.

My favourite late night Turkish food place. Affordable and good quality food. They have the regular soft drinks as well, in case you're thirsty. Get a (large) Turkse broodje, kapsalon if you're into fusion food, or Lahmacun with döner.
