I came here around 2:30PM on a Monday and there was no line or crowd as the place was near closing.
I ordered a cheese burger and curly fries with ranch dressing. Overall the meal was okay. The burger was classic but nothing stood out. The onion was sliced a little large with some film still on it. And either the ranch dressing or curly fries was a bit too salty.
The place has decent value. The place is very classic if that’s your burger style however, I’d rather head over to In n Out.

Freash tasty burger and fries. Soft bun and good flavor to the burger. Only thing I'd like is later weekday hours, but I half applaud them closing down early at the same time.
Easily the best cheeseburgers and fries in Alameda.
There is only one bench for dining, so make sure to stop here with take-out in mind.
I recommend the steak fries.

Good basic cheeseburger, great fries. Order was correct even with some additions and subtractions. There's a lot to be said for doing the basics well. Great place for a cheeseburger and fries

The teriyaki burger here is one of my favorite burgers in Alameda. Simple but totally delivers. Always such a pleasant experience coming here!!

Got the double cheese burger with bacon and mushrooms 🍄 and it was amazing. It was either this spot and in and out, and I am glad I picked this spot!

Local gem. I wish they had later hours. Great, old skool style burgers, cool location that most locals know, so it's not bombarded by tourists. Shakes are yummy. Need to take it to go or eat at the few benches they have or squat on the sidewalk. I don't ever want it to go away, it's local sacred.
The irony is don't eat here for their burger- I eat here for their teriyaki beef sandwich. It's is saucy and full of flavor. It's what I always get and I can't budge on getting anything else. The woman takes and makes your order so keep that in mind if you're time sensitive.
