This little place houses friendly people and delicious food! The fish was fried up micw and golden brown. The veggies was pretty good. I would go back... from the outside it looks like a no but the best places to eat are the hole in the wall.... the little place you never expected to be so good. CASH ONLY! Ackingna’s is not on the best side of town but the food is worth the risk. Everything Fried is made to order. Mac and cheese and greens were okay. The food is very good, and flavorful. Especially the fried chicken, ribs, and neck bones. They have other meats, but those are my favorites. They also have chitterlings, I ordered a plate, but they're mostly Hog Maws, very few chitterlings in there, and they're $20 a plate with two vegetables, the reason for the four stars. Our first time trying this place and the customer service was awesome! The fish, chicken, Mac n cheese, and cabbage were really good. However, the three little oxtails that we got were not edible. They were not tender at all and the gravy had no seasoning. I tried to add some salt but it was pointless.These were the worst I had ever had. But everything else was really good.
