Wonderful place! Food is fantastic. Staff is great and listens to cool music. Small grocery section to get food to go. 100% will return :) Update - big, unhinged emotions from the male owner. Hoping he was just having a bad day. He chewed out his wife/cook something awful. I hope this is not a pattern of a hostile work environment, but considering the breath-holding and walking-on- egg shells response of his entire staff, this seething anger is something they've all seen before. I hope he seeks the help he needs.
My son and I love coming here, food is always awesome and the service is top notch. All they need is a sign by the register saying to approach when ready, we spent five minutes behind a Karen that was perusing the menu indecisively while a line of customers who were ready to order built up behind her so we had to leave. Someone please tell Karen that there are other people in the world besides them and their unruly brood.

We stayed at an air Bnb practically next door and we ate breakfast there each morning. Everything we had was great. We had the bagel, breakfast grilled cheese , granola, and the biscuit French toast. It was so cute inside.

John and his crew are top notch!! They have the BEST biscuits in the Triad & their handmade desserts are one of a kind. My favorite thing about Acadia is the overall atmosphere and outstanding customer service!!! They do great work and we’re lucky to have them here in WSNC

I finally got to try this place out with my coworkers. I had added it to my list a few weeks back, and as a double bonus, one of our contractors treated us! We arrived around 1130am, there's a small parking lot, but we beat the lunch rush so that wasn't an issue. We ordered at the counter (I got a small hot mocha, the fried ribeye sandwich and a side of pasta salad, everyone else got a pastrami or reuben) and then picked a nearby table. It's nice that this place doubles as a small market/grocer, I perused the aisles while waiting for our lunch and of course ended up getting some extra goodies (chocolate chips and trail mix). Our food came out about in about 10 mins. Everything looked delicious- my ribeye was tasty, but definitely could have used a dipping sauce. It was a standard portion size, I actually could've finished it but ended up saving half for later anyway. The pasta salad was okay, could've used a bit more seasoning (salt, pepper, something), and I liked my mocha but think it could've been just a tad bit hotter. All in all though, this was a cute spot to stop at for lunch and I would definitely come back again.

I just had the Mushroom sandwich special and oh my goddess!!! Every bite was just loaded with flavor!!! I loved it. I would post a picture but I inhaled it before I could think about it! The Reuben is one of my staples and the best in town. I have never had anything at Acadia that I didn’t absolutely love.

Favorite restaurant. The only good spot for vegetarian options that ain't "a salad". Always excellent - the cauliflower melt, the reuben - I could go on! But Sunday brunch is the sweet spot! The breakfast grilled cheese is a thing of indulgent decadence. Vegetarian biscuits & gravy will have you asking, "meat who?". And rotating specials keep it interesting and fun to try new things. We're lucky to have this crew of talent cooking for us in WS!

This is one of my favorite lunch and brunch spots in Winston. I love that there are so many gluten free options. The cauliflower melt has to be my favorite sandwich ever.

I have been going here for years and have steadily seen changes in the kitchen that have negatively impacted our perception of the food. As a vegetarian it is great to have a place to go to get great food and feel a part of the community; however, whether it is execution of the food, portion sizes, or the cost I am constantly wondering, was that worth it?
