Cute and cozy spot, perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. I came here the other night for a free sparkling wine tasting. I love my bubbly and never turn down a fun sampling. They had an Italian, Spanish cava and a rose. The host was really nice and personable and the bottles were all great value (no more than $30). After the tasting, I sat down at the bar and had a glass of the Italian and their special mussels with chorizo in a wine-butter sauce. The mussels were great but did take a while to come out, also not a huge deal, but there was no garlic bread served with the dish which I would've have liked to be able to enjoy some more of the sauce after I finished the mussels! Great little spot though, decent value for money, and I'd definitely add it to your downtown Winston list. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Wow... a quaint establishment tucked away in the middle of the block directly across the street from a parking lot which means this place should be jam-packed to capacity.. but unfortunately this is not the case. First let's acknowledge the organization of it all. After waiting roughly 6 minutes standing at the front door at least to be acknowledged by the five employees that looked directly in my face and still continued to do play busy work without even acknowledging if I needed some assistance. Now let's get into the seating of the space. It is not the greatest with arranged seating but may do much better for smaller date night or getaways. I definitely would not suggest this location for a large group as they appear to be understaffed and not fully knowledgeable of the mini menu. With a establishment of this size you should take the extra initiative to learn what is on the menu as I am sure it has not changed at least in the past year. The dip was definitely spicy and salty. The macaroni and cheese is not quite it! The grits came with shrimp in addition to a pork sausage.. this should be notated on the menu. Even the premium drinks are 90% filled with ice so you either have to drink quickly or you will have a meltdown literally. For the portion amount that you get it is definitely not worth the price. But I do wish much success to this establishment as they continue to improve and bring some life to the local Winston area. Not worth the money. First of all, the menu is super limited. Second of all, the portion size is extremely small. I ordered the Hanger Steak. The portion was smaller than a pair of glasses, food came out cold, and on top of that it doesn’t bring any sides. I had to get a la carte side that was heavily unseasoned and tastesless. Definitely not worth $28 for the meat and $7 for the tasteless grits. The drinks were tasty without a doubt, no complaint there. The price seems reasonable though. The dessert was tasty as well, no issues there. The Charcuterie Board was alright at best. Our server was very friendly and kind, however she didn’t know the menu (which is hard to believe when there are only a handful of full of options). If we asked what something is, I spect the server to know instead of saying “I can google that”, it’s embarrassing honestly for a place that charges so much for food. Overall, I wanted to try this place, I have crossed it off of my list and will definitely not be returning here again. Not worth the $180 bill after tipping. It is extremely hard to beat 1/2 price glasses of wine on a Thursday afternoon, however, the food was equally amazing. My husband and I both had the vine burger with Mac and cheese and devoured it. The service here was outstanding as well, the manager and our waitress offered tips about the city and treated us like old friends. 10/10 would recommend this place if you're visiting Winston-Salem, NC! It's a very artistic vibe coming here. The customer service is great and they consistently make sure you are doing alright. The food is also really good, especially the salted whiskey French toast. I'd also recommend getting a wine flight/mimosa to wash things down Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Taylor was our waiter and she was perfect! Great suggestions and so fun. No pics, but WOW! My wife, daughter and I started with the Brie and drinks. They both had a vodka mules with cranberry--I tasted and the flavors played together nicely--soooo good! I had a house Cab--perfect start. Wife just wanted a salad and loved. Daughter had turkey sandwich and mac/cheese (done as God intended)! I had the scallops. Dear lord, so awesome. Nice char, buttery smooth and paired with grapefruit and that was absolute genius--grapefruit is not a go to for me--and honestly I rarely order scallops--I would drive there right now and order again tonight! We 3 decided tonight that we are going back weekly! Go, just go!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Baked Brie

Very disappointing lunch with a friend while downtown holiday shopping this weekend. The menu is short and sweet (that's fine), and most items sounded good and flavorful. We got advice on what to order from a kind server - and so I ordered a beet salad with added grilled chicken (extra charge for the chicken, that's normal). After a long wait - the server came back to say there were no beets for the beet salad, and would I like a sub with apples instead. He described a whole new salad to me. I said OK with one modification. We also found out another side we wanted to order was not available either. "Potato salad is seasonal" the server said. When the food came, my main salad was the portion of a side salad with very little ingredients besides the arugula. The grilled chicken was tasty, but it a very small portion too. I left still hungry and paid just under $30 for this including a tip. My friend's grilled chicken sandwich was served on a packaged store-bought bun - not brioche - and with not much more than the chicken on the sandwich. Not worth the $14. with one side. Too bad - the atmosphere is nice, but the food menu doesn't fulfill.

The restaurant has done a complete 360. The new chef is outstanding and the specials are interesting as well as delicious. I look forward to this local and unique space to continue to be a solid presence in the downtown Winston-Salem restaurant scene. The owners made a smart investment in choosing local, sustainable food and a chef that knows how to buy it and prepare it.
