Good tacos, terrific staff but the star of the show were the "tots". Cooked to crispy perfection. Tasty sauce on top. Spent $20 for three tacos, tots and a fountain drink. Underwhelming experience (value) for $20 bucks. Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Tots
This place used to be fantastic. I used to come here for lunch at least once a week ever since they got rid of the line and make you order at the kiosk the quality has gone way downhill, so has the customer service. I used to like to add onions to one of my rice bowls, but now it’s so difficult to customize from the kiosk that it’s not worth going anymore. Their sign says if you don’t want to use the kiosk you can walk around the corner and they have a cashier available but when you try to order with the cashier they tell you you have to use the kiosk or pay cash because they don’t really want you to order there. I miss the days when you could walk down the line and tell them what you wanted on your rice bowl. Used to be fantastic. I don’t go here anymore. I tried it tonight just to see if maybe things had changed but they haven’t. Not only that usually when you order a Not only that usually when you order an old-school Asada steak bowl it’s got lots of steak — tonight I had about four little strips. Such poor quality now. This place is a “skip” for me now now. One star. Pass.
Visiting from out of town and was told I had to try this place. I Had a very pleasant experience. I ordered two tacos, the chili orange shrimp (out of jicama so added pineapple instead) and a seasonal special oaxacan pumpkin pork. They were both really good. The person I was with also ordered the Asian nachos and let me try them. They were really good even if the heat was building up for me the more I ate. 180 tacos is good eating. The Korean BBQ taco, the buffalo taco, and the mac and cheese, with a drink, is the way to go in my opinion. Reasonably priced, tasty food. I would not recommend going right after a major sporting event though, it will tough to get a table. Seriously guys, can't say enough about how good this mac and cheese is. It's not the sort of thing that people usually rave about, but it is so delicious! One of my favorite entrees in all of Utah County.
Such a great place! Amazing prices and extremely delicious tacos. Not your average taco joint, so don't come here expecting traditional tacos. I mean, some resemble traditional flavors, but I think they are very different and not comparable. The flavors here are incredible. Their korean bbq taco is one heck of a reason to come here by itself. Love the fake kimchi flavor, too! Their corn tortillas seem to be made in house because I've never seen corn tortillas this big, nor their thickness. They pack the taco with lots of meat and so it's definitely a good size. Their chips are also so worth ordering! Pretty positive they're made in house cause they were thick and unlike any store bought tortilla chips....amazing! Can't wait to come back again and again. They also have a limited kids menu, and my picky eaters ate here just fine. For reference- 2 tacos per adult will fill you up. But 3 isn't uncalled for, either 😉
I went here for lunch on a Saturday with a friend, these were my thoughts. Pros: - Food quality was great - The ambience was good - Good variety of menu items - Wasn’t just another taco shop Cons: - No Coke products - The wait time was long for food ordered - Price point was a bit steep for food - Tables and floors were cluttered - Garbage bins were full too long Overall a fun date place to get a twist on simple tacos, a bit expensive and expect to wait a bit, I would order it for pickup next time to eat elsewhere.
What a fun and delicious experience! We stopped in for tacos that would be a little different and discovered 180degrees-different. I guess that's the point! What surprised us most and improved our experience the most were the extras... the Loaded House Chips and the Malasadas. I could go back for just those. Ok, maybe I'd have to get a taco too! We met the owner while we were there and were not surprised to learn that he has been a chef for years and years. Each bite tasted like it was crafted and designed with purpose. We can't wait to get back there and bring friends to share this unique find in Provo!
First time at 180 tacos . I ordered the street noodles with the Korean BBQ. I loved the noodles , veggies and beef . The beef was delicious and I loved the kick of spices . Pretty big portion . Very good!
I have a vision of tacos and unfortunately this place just wasn't quite that. I will stick with street tacos and Mexican restaurants. If you want tacos that are quite different, then you may actually like this place. The friend I went with does like the tacos there. Food: 3
Giving this 1 star for the service. They said the wait would be 10 minutes. It’s been 20 and the place is empty. They said there are 3 orders in front of us. They’re literally cranking out to go orders for people who aren’t even here. Such a bad customer experience. They used to make the food right in front of you. If the line was long it might take 10 minutes to get through it, if it was short you’d get your food right away. So lame to eliminate nearly every touch point with the customer, and the one touch point they have is to give you bad news. Hopefully they figure it out but so far the switch to online ordering is a huge step backwards. So bummed, we loved this place. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
